Know Your City: Portland’s Social History App will be a free phone app and Website providing a tour of downtown Portland’s cultural heritage. Part oral history project, part “guide book” and part learning tool — the program will feature stories about people and places vital to the city.

In 2011, the Dill Pickle Club launched a Kickstarter program to raise the funds for the project’s development. The drive did not reach its goal. We remain committed to implementing the project and are currently strategizing on how to best move forward. We aim to begin work on the program in Spring of 2012.
