2012 peripheries tours: call for proposals

The Dill Pickle Club (DPC) is proud to announce our theme for 2012: PERIPHERIES.
This will be explored at length through our winter lecture series, series of thematic tours and publications.

DPC currently seeks proposals for tours exploring our “PERIPHERIES” theme, with the overall goal of broadening our collective understanding about aspects of the city that may otherwise go unrecognized. While we do not have a definitive definition of “PERIPHERIES,” one can interpret it in multiple ways: physical places located on the outskirts of the city or metaphorically as in people, places and ideas on the margins.

The Dill Pickle Club board will select the top 12 proposals, before putting them before our membership. Members will then vote to determine the club’s 6 tour programs for 2012.

To propose an idea, simply fill out the form after the jump. The deadline for proposals is end of the day Friday, December 9, 2011.

We will be sending out an e-mail in early January to members to vote on their favorites.
