It’s that time of year again — when journalists are busy compiling top ten lists, resolutions are made and we assess the last twelve months of our busy lives. The New Year provides a good opportunity to look back over the last six months of activity. In just a short period of time, we have led four diverse tours, released two publications and hosted a significant art show and events series, involving 25 socially engaged artists in the Northwest.
The coming year holds much in store. This winter, we’ll be introducing a monthly lecture series, launching a book line of out-of-print titles with The Publication Studio and offering a series of six field trips examining overlooked aspects of Oregon’s past. We are excited to tell you more about our 2010 programming, and will be releasing more information in the coming weeks.
If you value the work we do, we encourage you to consider us in your year-end giving. For just $50, you can help make our programs accessible to middle- and low-income individuals. In addition, you’ll get first crack at signing up for our trips, as well as a subscription to all our publications for an entire year. If you can’t swing $50, we have a six-month option avail for just $30. Full details are posted here.
As we look ahead to 2010, we are excited to continue to provide a space to examine critical issues in Oregon. We appreciate your support. And we can’t wait to see you there.
