Things are busy here at Dill central. The shop is open and people keep stopping by to see the show, warm up, listen to records and enjoy a cup of tea while checking out books on Portland. While most of WORK | PROGRESS has come together by the sheer will and support of volunteers, we have had a few expenses.
Namely, we have needed to build two display tables. Vontundra, a Portland-based design house specializing in the creation of contemporary furniture, has generously donated their labor and some supplies, while other materials were purchased from a local salvage yard. The end result is two hand-crafted display tables that can look forward to a long and rich life with the Dill Pickle Club.
We need to raise $200 to cover supplies and we need your help. The folks at Kickstarter have offered us a chance to use their site; now all we need is your backing. Backers can receive a set of four artist-made postcards from our culture jamming friends at the Institute for Applied Autonomy, a complimentary membership and even a personal phone call with the entire Dill Pickle Club staff!
Help contribute to the future of the Dill Pickle and spread the word!
