WORK | PROGRESS Opens First Thursday, Dec 3rd!

Join us at the Eyeful Gallery (NW 6th & Everett) Thursday, December 3 at 6PM, during the First Thursday art walk for the opening of WORK | PROGRESS, an art show, pop up bookshop and event series to benefit the Dill Pickle Club. Cape Perpetua and Niekrasz/ Jenkins Duet (of Why I Must Be Careful) provide live music, while Ninkasi Brewing generously serves libations.

WORK | PROGRESS features 24 socially-engaged artists creating replicated works, including:

Many contributors have exhibited nationally and internationally, including Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, Boise Art Museum, Portland Art Museum, Seattle Art Museum and the Whitney Biennial.

The opening kicks off our inaugural “Pickler” drive, and celebrates the release of two publications: Brains, Brilliancy, Bohemia: Art & Politics in Jazz-Age Chicago and Art for the Millions: The Enduring Legacy of the WPA.

During the entirety of WORK | PROGRESS, the Dill Pickle Club will maintain a store at the Eyeful Gallery featuring gift items related to Portland history and independent culture. The gallery will be open Wednesday – Sunday 12PM – 6PM.
